Jowar Flour

Jowar flour or White millet flour is made by grinding jowar grains. Harvested Jowar plants are cut and tied in bundles to dry. The bundles are then threshed to separate the grains. These grains are then cleaned, washed, dried and then processed into flour. It has creamish white colour when ground into flour. It has a nutty or sweetish flavour. Culinary Uses Jowar Flour Jowar flour is used to make chapattis, bhakri, thepalas and also it can be used alone or mixed with wheat flour.
