The awesome journey of ‘Hema’s Homemade’ started in a small village Samrawadi near Bilimora South Gujarat in 1994, where husband and wife worked as a team, bringing you with an authentic taste of Gujarat.

Coming from a farmer family, farming was the only source of earning, So, Mr Satish Naik and Mrs Hemangini decided to use Chikoos of their own farm, process it and sold dry Chikoo chips to earn their livelihood. This emerges an idea of starting a small business. Gradually these Chikoo chips were famous liked by the local as well as NRI clients. A few years later, they bring in new product Chikoo powder, for preparing chikoo milkshake and got an amazing response from the market.

Maintaining the tradition and expertise in their niche of manufacturing 100% pure product directly from the farm kept them ahead in business.

After earning success in Chikoo Chips and Powder, Mr Satish Naik decided to diversify the product line by introducing homemade masala and different varieties of traditional Gujarati Mango Pickles, which was the signature recipe of Hemangini.

Mr Naik is personally involved in all the activities right from the sowing of seeds, growing, taking care to the plucking of fruit. While in the process from the packing of pickles and masala all the activities are done under the guidance and keen observation of Mrs Naik.

Also, for the welfare of the villagers, they trained them and give employment opportunity, currently, 12 men and women are working in Hema’s Homemade.

Mr. Naik says - Individual growth is not progress, your real success is when your society and community members are the part of your success.

To uplift the potential of her mother Mr Nirmit Naik ( Son of Mr & Mrs Naik) is taking care of marketing and distribution, including digital marketing activities.

This is not an end to their journey Hema’s Homemade are expanding their wings and coming up with new outlets of traditional pickles and masala’s in Surat and other cities of Gujarat as well as India. Moreover, they are launching new flavours of pickles and masala’s
